As a strength and conditioning coach, I was using multiple fitness platforms to deliver programs to clients. One platform had a great strength training interface but lacked nutrition features. Another had both, but the quality was standard—and neither had proper client relationship management or the tools needed to run a business without external dependencies.
Working with fitness businesses from high-end luxury brands to budget operations, I found the same problem everywhere: the infrastructure wasn't there. Platforms existed, but they weren't good enough. Coaches and employees had to use multiple tools—Excel sheets, spreadsheets, payment processors, nutrition apps—just to achieve one goal: delivering quality service to clients.
That's why I built Kai: to centralize everything in one place. Client management from acquisition through the entire journey. Training programs. Nutrition programs. Payments. Messaging. Kai comes from Kaizen—the Japanese idea of continuous improvement (“change for the better”). It’s the same mindset we build with: small, steady steps with our partners, always improving. That’s the story behind the name.
